Lindsay M. Bayles

Lindsay has prioritized community service and involvement since high school, where she led school-wide service projects as President of the Service Club at Desert Hills High School. Before transferring to Dixie State University (currently known as Utah Tech University) with a full-tuition academic scholarship, she received an award for women in entrepreneurship at Brigham Young University her sophmore year; she also served on the student leadership counsel for the Marriot Undergraduate School of Business. While at Dixie State University, she worked full-time as an estate planning paralegal, graduated magna cum laude with her degree, and served as Vice President of the Booth Honors Club.
Lindsay graduated from Washburn University School of Law with Dean’s Honors and certificates in estate planning, tax, and business & transactional law. Through her service as the Director of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (“VITA”) clinic and participation in the Guardian Assistance Program, she received a Pro Bono Honors with Distinction Award. She especially enjoyed her business and tax classes, where she received CALI awards for earning the highest grade in Taxation of Business Enterprises and Debtor-Creditor Relations. Additionally, Lindsay worked as a law clerk in the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Division at the Kansas Attorney General’s Office. She also served as the President of the Tax and Estate Planning Association while at Washburn and was Treasurer of the Pro Bono Law Society. Through her education and experiences at Washburn University School of Law, Lindsay learned how to apply her legal expertise into the client-oriented services she offers today.
Lindsay focuses on connecting with both her professional and local communities and is an active participant in her vocation and our community. As such, Lindsay contributes to both as a member of various organizations such as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Women Lawyers of Utah, Utah Bar Association, the Southern Utah Bar Association, the Southern Utah Estate Planning Counsel, and the American Bar Association.
Lindsay, her husband, and their two dogs enjoy traveling and the outdoors. You will often find her dirt biking, hiking, jet skiing, and spending time with her family and friends. She is passionate about education and is open to having conversations with students interested in pursuing a legal career.
